Marital Property Division

We will help you establish and implement an agreement to divide the debts and assets of the marital estate, including:

• Real property and motor vehicles: We will carefully review all real estate and vehicles and help you determine whether homes and cars can be fairly split between the parties or whether the best solution is to sell property and split the proceeds.


• Retirement plans: We will refer you to a financial specialist, who will calculate the fair market value of all retirement assets. We will work with you to determine how to divide and/or protect these assets.


• Marital debts: We will make certain that all debts of the marriage are fairly divided, including school loans, credit card balances, mortgages, third-party loans and family loans.

We work closely with you to monitor all of your assets until the divorce is final, so that all marital property can be preserved. If your marital estate includes these types of assets, we will work from a network of financial professionals to help you secure a fair-market valuation of the property.
